This is not a sandy beach. They basically have a pier and a ladder leading into the water. That's the way most of the beaches we went to in Bodrum seemed to be set up. We didn't make reservations but just showed up. Maybe it would be different during heavy tourist season but I think that the week that all the locals have off is over so I wouldn't worry. Also, just so you know the place costs 60 TL (about $20-25US) but they don't charge when you enter. You basically have to spend that amount per person on food and drink, which is pretty much guaranteed. My girlfriend and I spent a half day there and spent about $75 between the two of us. This included food, drinks, water, coffee. All in all, this place is really good. Good music. Very attentive staff. Have fun!
